Red silk scarf

This red silk scarf is one of the stunning rich jewel colours that make up this range. These handy 100% silk square scarves are hand dyed in exquisite colours. They are made of super lightweight crinkled silk, so they feel like nothing on your head but STAY securely in position.

They are creased diagonally across the scarf so they drape and hug the head well. You can twist them and create a narrow headband or smooth them out and create a wider headband depending on your ‘hair day’. You can even fold them in half to form a triangle and wear them as a bandana. Scarf measurements are 90 x 90 cms, if ironed flat. (Chemotherapy patients have full coverage with scarf worn as a bandana, and it can be layered under a summer hat.)

Not forgetting of course that you can layer them over jersey base caps and wear them together in contrasting or matching colours (shown here worn over Kimmy). See pictures below; hats are not included with this product.

They are just the right dimensions to go round your head once, to tie either at the back, front or side, and still have enough left for the scarf ends to form little corkscrews to ‘dangle interestingly’.

The soft sheen of the silk fabric makes these square scarves a dressy hair accessory – easily wearable in the office, out socialising with friends or picking up the kids from school. We run this range consistently throughout the year but colour availability does vary. (This is a hand dyed artisan item, so we rely on what colours the studio in Germany is producing.)
