Headscarf turban tying guide for hair loss – Silvia’s wrapping styles

Her selection of colours, prints, scarf materials and knot techniques are second to none. We hope you enjoy this first part and find it easy to follow. Silvia is using one of our long silk tying scarves to achieve this look and here are a few other scarf suggestions which would work equally well.

Scarves are super versatile, because they fit any size of head, and can be wrapped exactly to the individual’s taste providing volume just where it’s needed. It’s worth remembering that you can keep it contemporary and modern in look by the tying style you select. Some offer height at the front with a retro feel, others can be wrapped for full volume around the head. (It’s worth noting that a headscarf turban is probably the single item of headwear that will give you maximum volume. Particularly useful if you are concerned about defined head shape.)

Prints/patterns and fabrics are equally important and transform an average turban into a splendid head turning sensation! We hope you’ll be inspired by the simplicity you find here and feel confident to experiment with colour and enjoy making the most of your headwear.

Bravissimo Silvia!
