Stylish ‘pre-tied’ bridal turban, or a special occasion. If you’re looking for elegance, a turban is a timeless classic and makes a stunning statement. It is handmade and draped in cotton stretch sateen, with a wonderful soft sheen, and then stitched in place. All you have to do on the day is pull it on and your ‘crown’ is good to go all day. There are no internal seams so it feels super lovely on your head.
We’re often asked for cool summer headwear options. Ordinarily there is always a slight trade off – if its cool to wear, the fabric hasn’t got much volume to it and so it may feel cool, but the head shape is compromised. This beautiful gauge cotton sateen, gives you the soft sheen of silk with a crisp cotton feel. It wraps around the head beautifully and gives real definition to the turban shape. We’ve shown it on our model worn centrally here but you could wear it off to one side.
This turban is elasticated at the neck. Our turbans are cut deeper than most for full confident coverage – what’s not to lurve!
We manufacture many of our styles in our studio in Westcott, this means we can make them in S, M, and L sizes. The ‘High St.’ manufactures to a regular head fitting (56cms), so if you are experiencing problems getting hats to fit or hats to stay on, we can make for you. (Small and large sizes are kept as stock items in many of our styles.) We request that you enter your head measurement when ordering and we will ‘size’ the order before dispatching it to you. Our hats are hand made and hand finished, so there is always some slight variation between milliners!
