Autumn is my favourite season of the year. Our new Autumn/Winter’ Urban Turbans’ collection has arrived and we hope you’ll find them pretty to wear and super practical. Every year there is that same anticipation about getting dressed warm for winter – wearing a favourite pair of boots or overcoat again. Perhaps this is a peculiarly British trait!
Urban Turbans – come in all shapes

Great everyday styles like Tilly and Connie, or a cashmere beanie, which instantly lend a little ‘oomph’ to you and your outfit on a cold, grey day. Beautifully soft and super cosy to wear with great coverage and confidence assured in lovely wintry colours. (Remember if you set your hat at a slight angle it is far more flattering to the face, than if you pull it square down on your head!)
If you’re worried about over heating once you come in from the cold, then think about layering headwear items. (See below for cashmere beanie worn over Kimmy in Taupe.)

Take a look at our knitted headbands – great at keeping your ears warm without completely overheating. Apart from the practical considerations they look instantly pretty and feminine, adding soft volume around the face. They’re also a great way of ringing the changes so that your headwear can change and co-ordinate with a range of items from your wardrobe.
Reah a stylish showerproof cap has arrived. It took some tracking down, but we reckon this has got to be the ultimate in looking good come lashing rain, wind or high water! Soft leather look vinyl – an elasticated Baker Boy cap style cut nice and low, with a good size soft peak that frames the face nicely (peak crushes easily, so no chance of you knocking it off or askew).
When you’re not stepping out across the windswept wastelands of your local park or rugby pitch (or come to think of it supermarket car park!), you might want some beautifully soft, flattering hats for hair loss to simply carry on doing what you’ve always done.
Selina and Marcelle are very versatile, in so much as they are easy shapes to wear, and can be dressed up or down. Selina seen here in duotone combinations, is also available in solid colours if you like the shape of the style. We’re confident you are going to love the feel of these turbans for hair loss and the compliments will come flooding in.
More winter styles will be released as we roll on into the festive social season, so keep an eye posted on the website. Miranda is the first of our new dressy styles to appear. Nothing like a little sparkle to add zhuzh to your evening!
You can always email us if you can’t find an item online, we’re always looking to improve the current range and we’d love to hear from you.

Two of our clients go straight to the top of the class with their marvellous suggestions for Bea – the ‘Ascot’ version (added midway through the summer range) and some recent fabulous new colour suggestions for useful updates to the Pella Bedhead style.
Email me if you have a particular colour in mind and can’t find it here? We always welcome suggestions and we won’t know whether we can do it, until we’re asked! Have a lovely Autumn – kicking up leaves? …of course!
