Ladies winter hats – tweed
The ‘Coco’ cap is such a fabulous colour tweed – a mink / rosewood soft brown. A key aim when we select hats for our winter range is that they must look stylish, without looking ‘pulled down’. This hat is beautifully cut with an 6 section crown, so it has lots of fullness.
Why is this important? Because the hat holds its shape and it won’t look as if there is no hair volume underneath. The extra depth means the shape of the hat isn’t compromised by wearing it lower on the neck. It is also lined with a soft synthetic fabric. This cap is generously cut, if you wanted to wear a liner hat underneath it such as a Kimmy it wouldn’t alter the fit of the hat. (Kimmy in Taupe would work well with it.)
Why bother with wearing a liner hat? This can be handy when you’re out and about, moving between outdoors and indoors. You can take the heavier external hat off and still remain confidently covered. This is a beautiful quality hat for winter and one you’ll want to keep.
We manufacture many of our styles in our studio in Westcott, this means we can make them in S, M, and L sizes. The ‘High St.’ manufactures to a regular head fitting (56cms), so if you are experiencing problems getting hats to fit or hats to stay on, we can make for you. (Small and large sizes are kept as stock items in many of our styles.) We request that you enter your head measurement when ordering and we will ‘size’ the order before dispatching it to you. Our hats are hand made and hand finished, so there is always some slight variation between milliners!
